I have worked with American Chimney and Masonry twice now. Once to repair my chimney and the other to install a gas fireplace. On both occasions they did fantastic professional work. Other local companies gave me highball quotes to demolish and rebuild the chimney completely. Because of this American Chimney was less expensive as they found that the full demo was not necessary. They did quality work, were always on time and I am very satisfied. Steve, the GM is very professional and ensures that his workers are licensed and certified and everyone that I’ve interacted with is very professional. Dennis did an excellent job with the Gas furnace. I’m glad that I have had the experience of working with them. They are an A+ outfit in my book.

Used them to clean and make some minor repairs to our chimney, as well as install a gas insert. They had a fair price compared to the other places we looked, they were responsive and easy to work with, and did efficient work while at my house.
I would hire them again if I needed other chimney work (though I hope I don’t have to since most/all of the work has 10+ year guarantees).

Steven was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I have a center built fireplace in a bungalow house built in 1925. He assessed and explained what it would take to either make it a safe wood burning fireplace or to do an enclosed gas fireplace insert and the steps and estimates to do each option. When I decide what to do next, I will definitely be having them back to do the work.
